Where I stayed
The cool American dad who we met in Peru told us to 'go with the flow' and that was certainly true! The ship is huge and the americans are mental but we're just letting them get on with it - only they could be persuded to join in the with the Macarena at 5 o clock in the afternoon - us English need a bit more alcohol in our system first!
Being as over whelmed as we were we managed to stuff our faces within about 5 minutes of boarding the ship (Free style dining is going to make us the size of houses!) and shortly later and the sail away party we were eating again! We've got to get our moneys worth out of the food haven't we and with 6 on board restaurants, all serving food 24 hours a day we're certainly giving it a good go
Damien's been practicing his golf skills on the upper deck by hitting the ball into a net - he reckons he's get good at it now - anyone fancy challenging him to a game? Maybe you could come and join us in the Bahama's :-) - Warmley golf course isn't sunny enough for us!
We've also tried our hand at a little bit of basketball - but neither of us are too good at it and the americans are showing us up!
Yesterday, the ship stopped at Grand Bahama Island but we decided to stay on board and catch a few rays. Today we've docked at Nassau and we've ventured off the boat to have a little look around! From the ship we can see the Atlantis hotel - but we've already visited the Dubai version so its not that special!
Overnight we're sailing to Great Stirrup Cay which is a beach privately owned by the cruise line.
Anyway, we're off to enjoy the sunshine.
