Not much of an eventful day today!

Since we got to bed near midnight last night, we didn't get up so early.  The kids were eager to play with their new found friends in the morning!  But it was hard to say goodbye to Abigail and Sean.  We spent all day yesterday at the Dutch Wonderland with them.

So after a picture and  hugs goodbye, we finally got them in the car.  It's been wonderfufl meeting people on our trip.  Trading address to keep in touch.  It has really enriched our adventure!

We took the GPS's route to get to Boston.  And regretted not mapping it out!  Why are we going right through the middle of New Jersey Friday afternoon holiday traffic???  It was cool that we were able to see all the tall buildings of Manhattan as we passed by.  And we got to go on the Washington Bridge ($21 for that privledge...).  We took the NJ Turnpike.  Lost our toll ticket.  (NO!  I don't know where it went or how we lost it between point A and point B!!)  And had to pay full price ($34 for that lesson...)  fortunately, when we find that toll ticket, we can mail it to them and get a refund.  (no, I haven't given up looking for it!  It's here somewhere!)

I'm trying to take pictures of each "Welcome to the Next State!" signs that we encounter.  There's no warning that they are coming up!  I missed Massachutes and Conneticut today!  Argh!

The kids got to watch a movie "Flipper" after dinner.  That kept them busy for a little while.

We finally arrived at the campground at 9:30pm.  All is closed and quiet....hmmm...where are we going to park?  We wandered around the campground (squeak!  grumble! squeak!  We seemed so loud!!)  I checked the front office again and lo and behold, there was a paper with our name on it!  With a campsite number!  And a nice neighbor came up and told us where to park (no, not "where to go!" )

It looks really nice around here.  Right next to us is the bathrooms and the pool and the playground.  The buildings are all log cabin type.  Now we will have to plan our days out for Boston!

We got to talk to Aunt Pat today!  Making plans for Buffalo next week!  I still have to touch base again with Aunt Pami, but we still have 2 weeks before we are in St. Louis.  I did make reservations for Florence in Old Town.  We have site #59.

We really enjoy your comments!!  I'm glad so many of you are checking up with us!  We miss you all so much!  Love to all!

Love your pictures. You are always so good at that. Just don't forget to include yourself in a few. Years from now you need to know you went on this trip too. I run into the same problem on every vacation. No pictures of the photographer. Glad you guys are having so much fun!
