The Arrival

Well here we are, arrivd yesterday at approx 3:30 in the afternoon, after a long flight from Dublin to London, then London to Bangkok! In all it took rougly 24 hours, but it wasnt too bad i must say!
We got a taxi outside the airport, and after much jibber jabber with a taxi driver who hadnt a word of English we were on coarse to our Hostel! Driving through Bangkok was a strange experienc, hundreds of cars not obying any form of road laws and then when we got into the city you could really see a difference in culture. There were Rikshaws, food-stalls, clothes-stalls, pirate music/movie-stalls, every kind of stall you can imagine stalls!
Then we swung a left down a dirt road and stopped, then we noticed the hostel!
So there we were! Got into our room, wasnt too bad, had the basics, and i mean basics! two rock solid beds... and thats it really! Oh and a lamp! But im not complaining, its all you need!
So had some noodles for little over 20cent and a beer worth the same, then sweated around 20 litres! And finally went to bed, where i had the craziest sleep of my life, waking every hour thinking it was time to wake, but it was only 2am or 4am and then finally waking at 3pm thinking it was breakfast time.... so as you can see a crazy sleep indeed!
So its been raing all day, and of coarse i brought no rain gear... And here i am, stuck on te net all day! HA!
