Lake Tekapo was just a stop off point for us on the way to Queenstown. Arrived in the evening, cooked up some of Frank Royston's eggs and hit the sack fairly early. Lakeside Backpackers was where we stayed. Really nice and cosy with a fabulous view of the Lake.
