Leaving Santa Fe, on our way to Kansas, we stopped for gas and a bit to eat in Clayton.  Craving a blizzard we made a quick stop at Dairy Queen.  We order our food and, of course, blizzards, and while we are waiting for our order to come up we glance around the inside of the building and notice four old black and white framed pictures on the wall.  We look closer and see that it was a sequence of pictures showing the town hanging an outlaw names 'Black Jack' Ketchum.  Of course I googled the name and found that he was the first man to be hung in Clayton.  I don't know if the town is particularly proud of this or what but I can tell you it was the last thing I expected to see in a nice family establishment such as Dairy Queen.
