Where I stayed
The next day I remember Jose disappearing while me and Juan kept partying. I asked him were he went and he said he went to take a girl back to the hotel. He got his own room for privacy and then he soon found out that the girl was a hooker. He was very upset, he left the room and went back to the reception and told them what happened and they refunded the money. The girl waited and said they could go back to her place and the money you spent on the room could go to her. It was $20. Jose said money wasn’t the issue and sent her off. I told Jose at least you got a funny story, he said he would rather have a happy one. Trick or Treat.
As me and Jose sat next to the pool and started our tradition of whiskey and coke we were contemplating if we wanted to dress up for Halloween. As we kept seeing a few neighbors going out dressed up we were brain storming some possible ideas. In the past I have been lucky enough to be able to think of last minute costumes but I knew it would be a lot harder to think of something on the fly when traveling. After 30 minutes and a few drinks I said I got it. We can dress up as Romans. All we need is our sheets from our bed and some green leaves to make a hat. So we woke up Juan got dressed and it was a huge hit. Every body loved it. So many people took pictures with us and the girls kept trying to pull our robes off. Even though the local people thought we were Zeus or Jesus Christ I would still guess it to be one of the best costumes of the night. I partied all night long and didn’t come home until 10 the next morning. It was one of the best Halloween’s ever.
