For the past two days I have been doing river
cruises and Jungle treks in the Northwest Jungles of Borneo. I stayed
in Bungalow with a mosquito net right next to the Kalimantan River.
When I arrived I was very depressed because I didn’t want to leave
Sipadan and the trip was suppose to take 5 hours but ended up taking 10
hours due to a lack of communication. Soon after being there my
negative thoughts disappeared. I was greeted by 3 beautiful Swedish
girls that had already been there and were able to entertain me for the
night. I would be dreaming if it was the entertainment most of you guys
are thinking but it wasn’t. These girls were very nice and it was good
to have someone other than the asshole Estonians to talk too.

The first night it was raining and we went on a jungle trek. We saw
a lot of birds, a skunk, tracks of about 50 elephants that had been
there about 3 night before, two snakes, and numerous leeches. The best
part of it was seeing the Green Pit Viper that was about 3 feet away
from the bungalows. They said it was very, very poisonous so I didn’t
bother it too much.

The rest of the trip we continued trekking thru the jungle and
partaking in river cruises. We saw a crocodile eat a Bearded Pig,
plenty of Long Tail Macaques, Proboscis Monkeys, and best of all a huge
wild Orangutan. The jungle was hot, humid, and dirty. It was good to
see but I am glad to leave. Here I come Bali.
