Ahh, there's too much to say about Bath.  How 'bout some pithy adjectives: Georgian, pretty, impressive, crowded, historical, literary.  Hmm...doesn't quite seem to be enough.

Legend has it that the town was founded 2800 years ago, because of the baths (at the time just muddy swamp hot springs).  In AD 44 the Romans founded Aquae Sulis and built the famous baths.  Then came the Anglo Saxons in the 900s,  In the Middle Ages Bath was an ecclesiastical center.  However, it was in the early 18th century that things really got going.  Bath became a centre for fashionable society.  And, a bit later on Bath was immortalised by Austen.  Now the entire city is a unesco world heritage site.

In Bath I pondered Victorian and modern art.  I found that Kurt Jackson is a genius.  I ate Turkish Delight and perused tonnes of used books in an old market spot.  The river was enchanting and demanded to be followed.  I talked to an old and stately woman who possessed a paisley patterned cane.  Here I consumed Cornish pasties and found them to be wonderful (lamb & delicious).  Yes, a very enjoyable time.
