As I write this, Lyn has fallen asleep diagonally across one of the beds, and the 3 kids have fallen asleep in the other bed. Don't quite know where I fit in tonight ......, at least we've gained an hour though, a sArizona is an hour behind Utah. That'll mean an hour more sleep, if I can find room.....
We eventually got to Page, at about 7.30pm. It has been a really long hard day. We checked into the Days Inn, which is really nice, with a view of the huge Wal-Mart, and Lake Powell. Page too was in the centre of about 4 huge thunderstorms, so we went out onto our balcony to watch, before coming in to watch The Weather Channel all about Hurricane Flossie and Tropical Storm Dean. Looks like we've got it mild! The girl in the checkin desk said that they get thunderstorms just about every night in August. They closed the pool today because of it, and Antelope Canyon closed this afternoon. Typical, we have come all this way just to go there. We're booked in to the 10.30 tour tomorrow. Hope it's open, or we'll have had wasted journey. Understand totally why it would have to close though, as some people were killed there a couple of years ago, when a flash flood flooded it. They can't take any chances. Fingers crossed though!
