Arrived at Isla Margarita and headed for Playa El Agua on the east coast. After several hours trying to find a hostel (arrived in high season) in the heat of day we dumped our bags and headed straight to the beach. We were greeted with miles of beautiful white sand and aqua blue sea......beautiful! So much so we hung out there for just over a week, Nicho completed his PADI Scuba Diving course and I went diving too, amazing coral and lots of colorful fish.

We met a great English girl called Becky who in turn introduced us to Paul and Rob (from Clapham). Spent a few nights partying but eventually we had to leave.... Paul and Rob were headed the same way so we travelled together to Ciudad Bolivar and Angel Falls.
