One of the fun things about eating out on this trip is catching all of the typo's on the english menus. One pizza we saw had the toppings of 'Mushroom and Green Paper' another suggested the dish was a 'Local Deficacy'... I passed on that selection.

There are 2 games we have started playing a little bit; but one is too hard and the other too easy. As Quinn said "its more fun to talk about them than actually play them."
The first is played in the cities and the object is to count the number of seconds between horns honking. Three seconds is a long break because for the most part it never stops. The too easy game is STUM (Spot the Urinating Man). I'm not sure if its because there just isn't enough toilets for more than 500 million men, but many have given up trying to be discreet.

Just about everywhere in Rajasthan seems to start with a J... We went to Jodhpur and then met up with old friends now living in KL - Myrt, Kevin, Roz and Hilary in Jaisalmeer for a camel safari and then off to Jaipur. The state is famous for its colorful turbans, saris, palaces, forts and desert landscape.

One of the hoighlights of the trip was the 3 days and 2 nights we spent on a camel safari with the Jay Power clan through the desert. The camels are such huge animals that you feel a little too high to be safe. Getting up (and down) on the animals could be an Olympic sport or at least something that should be featured at the Calgary Stampede rodeo as you are pitched back and forth as if you were on a bull. The camels rise in a multi-stage effort as if being helped by a fork-lift at both ends each taking turns raising the beast.
