Back to London and our 'base camp' at the Aitchison's. What amazing hosts they have been.
We had of course expected things to be expensive in Europe, but they realy are quite extraordinary. Gas is twice as expensive, 2 small scoops of ice cream at a restaurant-$12 and leaving our our back packs at the train station for four hours $50. The first time I was in Europe my travel book was Europe on $20 per day.
Our 'guardian Angela' treated the family to see The Lion King which was truly spectacular. She is a remarkable woman who has the sparkle of someone who enjoys the adventure of life.
The kids have been truly amazing travellers and a great pleasure to be with... They are already talking about where they want to go on holidays when we return.
Chevy was very excited when I pointed out Jude Law shopping at Hamley's toy store in London.
Deb continues to amaze us with her connections-see photo.
Off to Turkey.
