I remember seeing a poster that said "There are 3 billion women in the world and only 8 are super models" - the writer has obviously not been to Paris.
There is a fabulous pulse to this city where people take the time to sit and watch the people go by. We were very fortunate to have our Parisian friends Therese, Gilles and daughter Milva be our guide. Chevy was our translator and I heard her speak more French than I'veheard in 7 years. The monuments are of course impressive and instead of just wandering through the Louvre overwhelmed by the magnitude, I took the Da Vinci Code audio tour which gave me a whole new appreciation for art.
