After the cottage holiday we headed to Ottawa to visit with my brother Bruce and family and also spend some time with Wendy and Fergus. While our round the world trip started off with the objective of "shaking up the kids"... at this point we changed our goal to supporting the criminal element of eastern Canada. We (and when I say we, you may wish to interpret this as Deb) left behind 2 credit cards somewhere in the capital region. We initially thought the cards were just misplaced...$4,000 in fraudulent Home Depot and groceries charges later the cards were finally stopped. Somewhere in the Ottawa region a very well fed man or woman is enjoying their newly renovated home. Add to this the $2,500 in traveller cheques WE (yes you guessed it) misplaced before we even left the country and some of us (yes me) wondered if we were ready for this trip. The good news is all charges will dropped and the cheques have been replaced.
