As we said goodbye to the DR we got to relax and enjoy first class accommodations back to the states. We obviously enjoyed every minute of first class and we were bummed when we had to get off after such a short trip. As we get through customs and head toward the next gate to catch our connection to S.L.C. I notice that we are getting on the exact same plane we just got off. How could this be? There is no way this is the same plane, but it was. This leg of the journey was much longer as you can imagine and we did NOT have the luxuries we were already accustomed to on this plane. We sat in coach and the whole trip we knew what was going on up there but we were stuck with our cheap $5 boxes of snacks for a meal and abrasions to the knee and elbow. All we wanted was some silverware and legroom, is that so much to ask for? Initially we were saddened but we eventually got over it and by the end of the flight we barely even glanced that way. In the end we were grateful and happy to be home safe and sound no matter what class we sat in during the flight. This trip had just about everything you could ask for in a great adventure. We had never even thought about going to the DR and we loved every minute of it. Not only did we have a great time but for me personally this was the trip that really sparked my interest in travel adventures. I would recommend the DR to anyone and we hope to take the family there some day.
