I spent the last three months in Greece. Not the always sunny seaside Greece, but the sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy and sometimes snowy mountain Greece!

The region was called Western Macedonia and I stayed in a medium-sized town called Kozani, the capital of Kozani province. I prepared my diploma thesis at the Electrical Engineering Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia.

I made quite a few visits to the surrounding cities, villages, provinces and natural beauties, as you can read at the beginning of this blog.

In the end, I must say it has been a great experience. I learned a lot during these months, both professinally and socially. I met some extremely welcoming, wholehearted and ever-happy people and I explored some of my boundaries. My social experience was faded somewhat by my study engagements, but on professional plane, I think I would not have studied or read even a tiny portion of what I have had.

Towards the end, I made these two impressive trips to two of the Ionian islands (Corfu and Zakynthos), which was completely different than Macedonia or the Olympic Aegean shore or Halkidiki, which I have visited before. For a person who appreciates and it is amazed by the beauties and unique wonders of Nature, like I am, it is an invigorating experience.

Greece, as a country was great. Its landscape its just unbelivable, too bad most of its settlements resemble Romania so much...

See you soon! - don't forget to like my posts on Facebook ;)
