Hey all! So, now that I've been here for almost 3 weeks it's starting to feel a little homey. I'm finally starting to know my way around which is something I would have never been able to fathom 2 weeks ago! I'm starting to get used to all of the walking, climbing hills and stairs, etc. It's so hot and humid however and I could never get 'used' to it but I've come to the point of acceptance.
So we spent some time in EUR which is a fascist city build by Mussolini in the early 1900's and checked out a very cool museum. We also visited the baths of Diocletian which Michelangelo turned into a gigantic church. Very interesting stuff!
So after 4 hours in the HOT sun doing all of that, we went to the beach! It was an amazing feeling to jump into that water!
That evening we went to an italian opera called. It was really enjoyable.
Later that evening we found a new night spot that is full of italians rather than Americans. That was a NICE change and a really fun night. They had a Guns and Roses cover band called "lines and noses" they sounded and looked just like them.
Sunday, we took a bus tour to 3 different gardens around Tuscany. They were nice and cool and pretty. We ended the trip climbing a huge bridge to the top of Civilta Roman which is one of the most charming places i've visited yet. You must look at the pictures!
