Crossed Virginia Line

Update from Pat:
I spoke to Gavin this evening, he made the cross into Virginia from North Carolina today. Put in another 100 mile day. He actually got 50 miles done in two hours at one point, he was very proud of that. Currently he is about 30-40 miles south of Richmond, Virginia, and is now past the half way point of the ride. Spirits are good, legs and hind end sore, but what do you expect when you are on a cycling journey such as this. I plan on talking again over the weekend, so hopefully I will have another update in a couple days.

Gavin stayed with us while in Currituck and forgot some biking shorts here. I gave them to my daughter who lives in Boston and who he might be able to link up with somehow while there. it was wonderful meeting him and we wish him well.
