Okay so after nearly two months of being homeless... call it what you will: transients, gutterpups, gypsies, vagants, vagabonds... we now have a place to call our own. After all the ups and downs of an exhaustive search process we are more than excited to have a place in South London to call our own. Our new home is located in Wandsworth. The area is terrific - with a butcher and baker (no candlestick maker) and fantastic pubs: The Earl Spencer receives rave reviews as a terrific, inventive Gastro-pub while the Park Tavern is down at the corner and has half-price burger Mondays & football on the telly. Can't beat that.

The commute for T will be about 20 minutes on the tube from Southfields while my ride will come in at just over an hour after a bus to a train to a tube. (Somehow I ended up with the short end of the stick there...) But more importantly, it is a great place and T will have her own pots and we will have our own courtyard/patio/garden for BBQing and morning breakfasts. There is also a separate living room with its own door so guests will have the comforts of their own room - if only their own air mattress bed.

I have included a couple of photos of the flat and a link to a Google map of the flat location. You will see that we are only a block from King George's Park and a 10 minute bike ride to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in one direction and the Thames in the other.
