Where I stayed
Rocky Mountain Manor
That room was awesome. We got to charge everything up, washed everything out (including ourselves), and get some much needed down time. Faye let me borrow the hose and wash down our muddy tent that we had to pack up in the rain. We had just come from spending 2 1/2 days in the rain in the canyon. The tent dried out and I repacked it. I have a lot to say about all this and hopefully soon I will get some quiet time to write all this living outdoors stuff into a blog post. Thanks to the leading of the Spirit we were blessed not only with shelter, but also with fellowship. both these things warmed our hearts to the core.
The drive to Red River from Cimarron Canyon is short, less than an hour. The whole drive is breath taking, literally. During the drive we agreed that if the Lord lead us to the right place, we would fork out the money to stay in a proper room. When we got into town we continued to pray for guidance and after feeling several "no's" we were lead to the Rocky Mountain Manor and Cabins. This was a divine appointment for sure. While I was meeting the sister who runs the place the Spirit lead us to a faith talk and in just a few minutes we were praisin the Lord out loud with our whole hearts. Her name is Faye and her husbands name is Trinity. What a treasure it is to be out in this crazy world and have the Lord lead us into these transactions time and time again. Jesus' Body, the True Church, ROCKS, and is perfect. We got to fellowship with them both and share spiritual blessings with one another. Encouragement is a great blessing and we are so glad to give and receive it.
