We were told about a place in South Deerfield that had a candle factory.  They said that it was a great place to go visit.  I really didn't think a candle factory would be too exciting but off we went.  It not only had candles but it had a christmas section and children's section and kitchen wear and clothing and purses and it had a restaurant.  The grounds around it were absolutely beautiful.  We spent a couple of hours trying to see everything.  Great place to visit.  When we left, we went through Deerfield and checked out some of their historic homes.  Then we moved on west, over to Shelburne Falls and checked out the falls and the bridge of flowers.  The bridge was built in 1908 as a trolley bridge between the towns of Shelburne and Buckland and was abandoned in 1928.  The woman's clubs have transformed it into a beautiful bridge.  Then it was back home and take the dog out for a walk and get the trailer ready to head out early the next morning.
