This morning we woke up with very few dead bugs in bed with us. We survived. There weren't any other bugs in the room that we could see. We quickly packed and ate breakfast. We took a hotel car to the airport. It was a fast hour and 15 minute flight back to Bangkok. We headed to the hotel where we stayed last time and it was an easy drive. Once we checked into the room, We headed to the travel agent and booked our tickets to Phi Phi Island. We used the hotel travel agency. Two women talked on two phones....one booked our ferry and one booked our airplane. It was quite complicated so we hope it all works out. Either way we will at least end up in Phuket which is similar to Koh Samui and very touristy. That means Starbucks, McDonalds, and a bazillion 7-11's. I've learned 7-11 has everything you need....most of the time. Dave did some emails, but it was too late to go to the factory. We headed out for a geocache, but didn't find it. We then went to a computer software market and got some good things everyone should enjoy....SOPRANOS season 6!!! So mom, Linda, and Brian...you'll be able to finish the series soon! Dave is in the lobby right now meeting with some business guy and I am waiting so we can go to the night market when he is done. Now for the bugs....when we exited the plane we were outside the airport. We were bused to the terminal and then walked inside. As we walked inside cockroaches covered the ground...ok, there were a bunch but I felt surrounded. As Dave pointed out some dead ones another one crawled inches away from my toes. I stepped forward and the guy behind me took care of him. After we checked into the hotel Dave was unpacking his bag. We are on the 15th floor this time....the hotel is like 25 floors high. He reached up in the closet and a cockroach crawled down his arm. He flung it to the floor and we caught it with a glass and a coat hanger. That bug traveled a long way. We took some fun photos with the bug and then sent him on his way through the hotel river (a.k.a. toilet) I will attempt to download photos, so check out the previous entries.
