Today I went with Ann all over the city. We took two trains and a boat to the Grand Palace. We were very hot because you are required to wear close toed shoes and pants in the Palace. We stayed for quite sometime and then I found the ice cream shop Dave told me about. He went to the Grand Palace during his last visit and didn't want to go back. I found the shop, but if you can believe this....it was just too hot for ice cream. I had some water and sat in the air conditioned room. I then went to the Golden Mount where there are many more Buddhas and temples. From there I went to WAT PHO....a very large leaning buddha. The tuk tuk ride was great, but it was even better that night with Dave. But before I go there....after seeing the buddha, i took a boat up the river back to the train station. The boat ride is fun, but it made me nervous because that water is absolutely the worsest ever. I think someone would die if they attempted to swim in it.
Back at the hotel, Dave got back and the four of us went to a bar down the street. It was way to hot to eat dinner, but we thought it would be good to get a beer. We took a tuk tuk to the bar....all four of us in one. This was crazy. After a beer or two, we went back to the hotel and retired for the night.

Hey Cronkie Monkie. So excited to hear you're in Thailand! I was there during that massive tsumani, but luckily I went north to Chiang Mai. It's great to hear your adventures. Don't you love the cheap food and goods? I think my massage there was hands down the best (and the cheapest) massage I ever had! I'm so jealous! Kori-Jo
