We left Donsol at around 0900 to head up to Legazpi airport, where I met a college classmate (Joyce!) who I have not seen for 7 years.  We took a tricycle again to the Legazpi Satellite Terminal where we boarded a bus en route to Pili, Camarines Sur.  The bus costs 110pesos/head. We asked the bus conductor to drop us off at The CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC). CWC is a very popular spot for wakeboarding. There were tons of guests, mostly tourists from Australia and Europe.

We arrived at CWC at around 1430. The complex was surprisingly well-developed and the hotels were beautifully constructed. There were accommodations available within the compound, but they were very expensive.  Interestingly, it was not as costly to use their wakeboarding facilities. As a novice, I availed of their one-hour beginner's training, which cost 165 pesos, inclusive of a 15-minute orientation, 1-hour use of facilities, equipment rentals and unlimited use of their pool. Not bad at all! As a beginner, I was instructed to start off with kneeboarding, which I successfully completed three rounds without falling. By the time I was ready to stand up to attempt wakeboarding, my time was up.

The complex was also very tourist friendly. It has a tourist center, restaurant and shuttle services to and from the villas within the compound and also to and from Naga (7am, 2pm, 7pm).  Naga is the capital of Cam Sur, and is also where most affordable accomodations, restaurants and the airport are located.  We took the 7pm shuttle to Naga and asked people in the shuttle bus for their recommended budget accommodations. Moraville kept cropping up from various people, so we asked the shuttle to drop us off there.  They were right! We paid 1200pesos/night for 6 people. Of course, there were drawbacks. The sink was leaking and there were minor bathroom issues, but they were all bearable. Besides, with that rate, we chose not to complain. We will be out most of the time anyway.
