Last night, I booked Kuya Dante to guide me on a strenuous hike up one of the limestone cliffs in El Nido Town. I woke up at 0600 in order to get ready to meet Kuya Dante at 0615. The name of the peak is "Taraw". We walked for 20 minutes to get to the trail head and started our hike along a very rocky and extremely steep path. At 0730, I called it quits. It was just too difficult. Plus, we were pressed for time. I headed back to the hotel to eat breakfast and to meet my family.  At 815, we were ready to head out to our bangka to begin Tour C.

Tour C consisted of touring around the marvelous heart-shaped Matinloc Island, which was at least an hour bangka ride from El Nido town. We made several stops here, including stops in Hidden Beach, Secret Beach, Matinloc Shrine and snorkeling around Tapiutan Strait. We were expecting to see tortoises, but instead caught glimpses of several dolphins swiftly swimming along the way.

Tour C was the highlight of my El Nido trip. Hopefully the videos I posted here will do justice to the impressive beauty I saw in this tour, both underwater and on land.
