Back in January (or was it February?), my roommate was involved in a local "business person's race." Local businesses pay local mushers to race the dogs. Proceeds go to trail maintanence. The dog race was actually out on the trails in Chugiak, which is about 20 or 30 minutes from Anchorage.

Needless to say, the dogs were great! They obviously love the run. When their buddies get harnessed up, they go nuts and start jumping all over the place.
