Headed back to BKK and arrived at 5:30 in the morning. Checked into a nicer place on Soi Rambutri- this time with A/C, a hot shower, and a rooftop pool that called my name all too often. As I made my way towards this place, I noticed that Khao San Road was still happening- people were out playing pool and drinking. Then others were passed out on the side of the road. Amusing sights on that road.

I was tired- so I headed to bed. Afterwards, I had some lunch, ran somem errands, and made my way to the roof and the pool.

The following day, I made my way to the Grand Palace (this time donning pants) so I could pay my exorbitant fare to see the Emerald Buddha, a lot of gems, and the palace grounds. Late that afternoon, I headed towards the airport- where I began my 30+ hour trip back to the US. Talk about tired...
