There you are one second, loving life, driving along the highway at 60mph w/ your love in your dream rv, thinking things just couldn't get any better.

Then BOOM! A blast like a shotgun and your rv totally loses control. Thank G_d I was able to pull right over on the side of the highway safely and without much issue. Our right front tire blewout rather unexpectedly on our second day on the road. Rather interesting I thought- this must be happening for a reason- as I firmly believe there are no such things as coincidences. So we cranked up the generator, blasted the ac, popped open some beers, and called the rv dealership. They said that I just needed to get the tire replaced and my insurance would fully re-imburse me. Cool! It took calling about 12 different tire places to find one that had our particular model of tire, but eventually we did and were told that help was on its way.

We decided to take advantage of our fortunate surroundings and the fact that we had nowhere in particular we had to be...so we made our way back to the bedroom...and later took a nap :-) We awoke later to a knocking at the door, and this friendly guy starting jacking up the rv and replacing the tire. Was quite a fun time. In fact, I can say with absolute certainty that I've never had so much fun being broken down on the side of the road :-) After he was done, he even gave us an extra tire gauge he had to keep tabs on the rest of the tires' pressure. Cool dude.
