We have made the final drive of the tourist portion of our trip, arriving in Montreal today. Over the past two days we have pampered Focus with a new lot of oil and a filter (courtesy of Canadian Tire ... somewhere along the highway) and a car wash this morning outside of Quebec City. We stayed at our favorite KOA near QC last night. We were able to get to the site in time to set up the tent by 2 pm and get it dried out after our epic rainy night in Perce.

With the tent drying we decided to sit with our books, some brie and crackers and a bottle of wine purchased at the campsite (thank you Quebec). Trouble was I have finished the 3 books I brought so I was on to Sudoku, to Jen's delight this was not a problem and I was quiet while she read her book. By the early evening the tent was dry, we were full of cheese and wine and the wind had blown around our card game long enough that we decided to go for a quick walk around the campsite.  After our walk I decided to start on dinner; Thai Coconut Chicken. It was a delicious meal and a quick cleanup as the KOA had the Camp kitchen sink. Following that we retired to a movie on the laptop and sleep.

This morning we woke up, I commenced sneezing and that was it for me. Up to get coffee on and breakfast started. 1 - Coffee, 1 - Hot Chocolate, and 2 - ham and egg croissants made for a delicious breakfast.

Within a couple hours of waking up we were on the road for a car wash and then off to Montreal. The car wash wasn't my best job but it was a whole lot cleaner than before I started! It was a one person job so Jenny decided this would be a photo opportunity.

Once on the road we plugged on to Montreal and to Theresa's apartment. We got settled in after circling the block for parking and dodging closed streets. We walked a neat market with loads of fresh fruit, veggis, and meats.  I purchased some fresh concord grapes and cherries before we headed for the other market (for which the aforementioned streets were closed). We managed to get through with only a couple of purchases of the clothing variety and some cider and groceries.

Tonight we will be off to Sushi and relaxing. Glad to be under a roof for the night and to see Montreal tomorrow and Saturday.

Until next time, Bonne Journee!
