Do not ever try to get a taxi between 2am and 4am in Sydney. We walked from Darling harbour (about 5 minutes the other side of the harbour) all the way up past College Street trying to get a taxi, yes it made the fare cheaper by the time we reached the flat but don't get a taxi during these hours, you have been warned.
So after getting back around 3:30am, we get up and go to the market down in Sydney which was funny with all the stalls being mainly Asian people which was expected, the food section of the market was a whole new experience in itself. Men yelling the best deals on pineapples, grapes, you name it, they were shouting their little hearts out trying to make a buck or 2 more than the guys stall next to theirs.
We lug the stuff from the market over to where Peta works to grab my bag then shoot off to get the train back to Bondi Junction.
Another good day in Sydney.

Comments
Duly noted. I will not get a taxi during these hours in Sydney!
How else are you supposed to get home though?
