Where I stayed

A day trip to Milford sound was what Johnny wanted to do, i wasnt sure due to the cost of it, but im so glad i went, one of the best things we did in the south Island

The Milford sound is famous for the milford track, but if you dont book in advance then you normally dont get a chance to do it

It was tour we did, and we did find it tedious how evryone was there with camera, camera, camera all the time, no one gave a chance to just sit and look, Johnny and i did

the tour guide was great though, learnt a lot of facts about the area that i wish i had wrote down so i could remember

we went past areas where lord of the rings were made, the trilogy did help make NZ  a touristy hot spot forever now, as the films were such a hit

The tour started off with a break in Te anua where the Milford track starts, and also ther are smaller tracks you can do, which dont cost as much either
we saw an american couple who were camping next to us ready to do this adventure over the New Year

we had a chance to go to a bird sanctuary where we could see some of the rarest flightless birds

Found out due to the tour that New Zealand was a place populated with birds, and birds only
when all the continents split up millions of years ago, new zealand went its own way with no predators, or any dangerous specie, this was the time before humans were present
\The kiwi became flight less due to adaptation, there was one major predator apparently the biggest raven/falcon to ever live on this planet
the kiwi used to hide out in the bushes and never flew scred to get captured
the predator was hug apparently could pick up humans, the maori killed them off

Enough of history but now you can see why bird lovers love NZ!!

The milford sound journey was long today but so worth it and when we got to the fiordland national park wow jkust gorgeous!! some of the best campites in NZ too!! why couldnt we camp here!!!

the milford park and national park was designated this status in teh 1850's by a Maori tribe leader whio went to england tro request this land notr to be destroyed and ever since it has remained a beuatiful unituched place!!

i do love NZ anyway most of it seems unotuched and i hope it stays this way!!

the Ferry ride was fab too

when we got onto the Milford sound pure beauty!!
saw waterfalls huge cliffs full of trees and lushous green, it rains at least 250 days here fortunate enough we had sunshiune today, but also rain!!

saw seals too on the side and it felt like we were in jurassic park, i truly loevd it
Johnny liked going under the biggest waterfall and getting soaked, no thank, i didnt want whatosever, i wasnt wearing the right clothin
