byron bay is just awesome!!!!!
well its where all the brits seem to b ehanging around because ie seen so many at the backpackers hostel im staying at!!
yesterday was a great day to relax on the beach, the sun was shinging, very humid here, and finaly saw some proper waves and first surfers yet in australia which was so so so cool!!!!

alos ventured up to the lighthouse, got a lift up ysterday but apparently the walk along clarkes beach up thourhg the rainforest track was worth doing so i thought i ould go for it, met a lovely english guy from bristol and as had a walking partner up the hill which makes it more fun!!
also went to the furthest eastern point of the east coast of australia which was a fun ahcievement and a place to have your picture taken

today was more of a touristy day, ventured into Nimbin, which was a famous vilage out near banglow an hour and a half from byron. The Nimbun shuttle takes you past the mount warning volcanoe, which use to be the largest volcanoe in the southern hemispshere 20,000,000 years ago
the aboriginies named it after the clouds and the mountain was called the cloud catcher
Nimbin itself was one of the hippiest places id ever seen!!! it took of to be a hippy chill out place since the aquarius festival in 1972, ever since many people came swarming to the area to get out of the hustle and bustle of life
alongside hippy comes the ecofriendly message and this was greatly seen w=from the rainbow eneergy source company which use and make solar panes for all houses around aus
the company we saw actually had maps ad idagras shouwing how solar panels generate enegery and also maps of how australia could use other methids of more renewable enrgy sources to generate the energy fr australia
geothermal would greatly work!! aus uses 90% of coal and other non renewable energy, how bad rating is that!!
aus have lots of mines too and a lot of their coal and oil is shiped acrsoss to japan and mainly china, huge deals with these countries!!

also shown the candle factory amazing ive nevr sen so many brightly candles in my life! and saw the largest candle in the world, it can burn for half a year!! i took pictures
the came back to byron and bookd a train ticket outta here
next stop coffs harbour, on the way down the coast to Sydney!!!!
