hey all
wow so unfit!! climbed the highest mountain in this area and got the most beautiful view in the world of the oldest rainforest in the world!!! felt so lucky though, though really bad thoguh nearly died climbing the mountain cos havent done excersies for such a logn time, but having lucnh on top of this view was so worth the dying the climb
also getting fitter though helped with hugh the research centre owner with building the new classroom, never done timber wood work building a house before
so a cool experience all round to learn
love this place got to know a candien ecologist named cas aweome girl, ive learnt so much more about the natre and life now and her research shes done sounds so cool
she came across to a perth lecture on ecology and now travelling on her own shes shown me the ropes of some aussie stuff and she too didnt think much of cairns also we had great convos on life wkrong at the bat house, she was the first person i met here
also two french interns are here, so ive been trting to improve my little french words in exchange for helpign them with english
theyre are here for their last year of uni thy have to be in a enlgish speaking counrty studying agriculture at their uni
its cool to hear them speak english and hear them develop their skills

also learnt so much from being here about the enivonment and so much on global warming!!! ive found it so interesting!!! hugh has given me so much info on the subject and really i wont go inot debate on it bu some acts do need to happen
the coral reef just outside from here will be gone in 10 years and its so true i t really will be
you will be lucky to see it
i really think after being here i want to focus on research and physical geo more than human, but both do interact
