Where I stayed
had to get up on time to makwe sure to get off the train, 5 minsutes thats it to get oof, we were fine thoguh we managed!
kris and i then ventured towards teh ghats asfter an ordeal of just rying to gt a rickshaw man to get us theerre!!!
we finally got it sorted after going inot the tourism and asking him to write down our instructions for us on how to get there!! cycle riskshaw was fun :)
the ghats themselves were beautiful!! seing the holy place whihc ivve leant about since i first ever learnt bout hindusism was pretty cool
the expeirenced Thali for the first time ver yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! amazing meal
like a buffet but vegetarian or meat rice, dhal,chipati, pototao in s asauce and something els and they top it up for you 30p a bargain!!!!
going to really miss the indian food so much just becaud the spices and the food is so fdifferent to what yo have at hoem
we went om a boat ride in the evening of last night, sadly the rain from agra was also in Varanasi so no sunset :( but still amzing to see the burnuing bodies and the all day funerals taking place on th eone of the ghatrs, no photos very respectful, wowmen arent allowded to the funerals only men, the bodies are brutn to a certain poin before put into the river ghanges!!!! the ghanges itself peo[ple wash in prayer in early in the morning and alsop the evnign purge evengin prayer is a spectacular dance and ritual which is best to se and the the cast system was explained as only the first cast to do with brahamans are allowed ot perform the special prsyerr on the ghanges
the ghanges is a holy place to do with the lord vishnu and hindus travekl from all over just to come to ths special place
also went to a nepalise temple and shoping through the lanes and saw a cow in the shop not see that everyday!!!
head off on the overnigh train to delhi not as long we are all so tirede i reckon will fal alseep straight away!
