hey all!!
after seeing the fort in Jodpur and also meetin the firs atheist hindu ive ever met and having one last chai with the friendly family that allowe us ot dance with them on sat night we headed for our tour leaers home town Udaipur
early bus journey and up that early yhou see more beggars and also animal cruilty, lots of stray dogs whihc are in horribel states its sad and hard to see on hat scale, Jodphur did used to be a major city and it definitly was busy
Udaipur wen arriving was more quieter on city  scale but the tourists were there too!!
last night on the first nght in the city we saw the end of the festival that had been goin huge amouns of people ib the street came to watch the processions of the final night, we alos saw the beautiful and main tourist attraction the Udaipur city palce a nght, amzing!! we also watched an Indian dance performance next to the big palace
amazing dancing!!
Udaipurwas also the place where the james bind film octupussy was filmed, so where we wre taken for our meal we also watched the film too!
at our hotle also met other gap avdventures and got o talk about their trip wich was cool

today we saw the main city palace, 16t century architecture and just amazing!!!! the biggest palace in rajastan strecthing to 5 acre was conttantly being ade to over the last 5 centuries by the next kings and emperors
my favourite part was the Karh Burj with beautiul mosaics and glas work it felt like alice in wonerland!!!!!
there are three parts tothe place one part is now part hotel, imagine that price!!
the rest of the day i got to expericen minature art painting which is famous to Udaipur, also go to know some locals as i went around shopping and had many free chai, i did prmise to dance on the final night of the processions with one of the locals i met, glad i tried, it was harder than the other nightt as he daning was on huge scale, when u see the pictures you will know what i mean, both boys and girls dacning in one huge circel it was enormous, locals come from all over the villages to dance in thisf festival in thi main city
i also got to share my food with a local of the carts, Kris and i havent eaten in restaurants like most torists have but off the carts the locals eat off, we are told not to but its cheeap amazing spiy food and the lcals lvoe it when you eat with them!!!
i got to try sweet chipati whihc is only allowe once a year at this festival after fastig, so i was privelaged ot have a taste and it was very yummy!!!
