Where I stayed
after we nealry borke down, admittly after 5 weeks of no broe\ken down truck i wasnt surprised when it nealry happend
it was hiliarious thogh we nealry had tto get Jen a hitch into J'burg and steve was standing on the side of the highway sticking his hand out to the decent looking cars, only one truck stopped, but fortunaltey elton and shpered got the truck going again
jen was so nervous thohg as she really didnt want to mis her fligth, can you blame her!!
no more camping it was pizza take away too as we were all so tired of cooking and we just wanted one last nght to chill
James left early this mornign and so the 7 osf us left went to the apartheid museum, which was a remarkable museum and very deep, serious and one of the best places to see and do in s. africa i think
it gave you the broad history on S.africa and J'burg alone and explained what had happend to bring around the apartheid, as J'burg is reknowned to be one of the most dangerous places on the plnet!!
it is the 2ndlargest city in africa with 8 million peopel and the aprtheid was what made the 1980 riotys and protests from the ssoweto area very famus
the museum also dedicated to Nelson Mandela who now i know was put onto Robben island due to the aprtheid and trying to make his proteect thorugh calm ways thorhg anti groups
very moving museum
jess, laura and adam left for the airport shortly after
