Weīre in sunny, sunny Acapulco. Itīs stinking hot! I canīt take it. Weīre only spending one full day here for a little R + R and most of this was on the beach. Itīs a beautiful place with white sand and smooth waters. The surrounding hills and mountains, and the beachside hotels add to the picturesque scenery one would expect at such a famous resort. Chairs and umbrellas line the beach and cost you 30 pesos for the day. Numerous sellers stream past you as the locals try to make a little money in the very hot conditions. Most of these people are almost black, like you Mike. Foreigners too also have a very dark chocolate tan showing the length of time spent here in the sunny south. We feel extremely lucky to be here and of course the locals must think we are well off to be able to sit on the beach all day. We put that notion to rest when we went to the OXXO, 24 hr dairy, to get our lunch. HAHA. Weīre off on another long bus journey 9 - 10 hrs to Oaxaca another historically important city.
Right, off to get that tan I donīt need!
