The guys were seducing us with tales of a freshwater lake where there is white sand shelving gently to about waist height before the bottom drops away rapidly like the edge of a cliff. Caroline was keen to get a swim that didn't involve fighting off four foot high breakers so we headed for ???????/ Lake. We had a great swim, six out of seven in this time for the first time, and Neil and Marc played creatively with the underwater camera. I gather there's a great shot of Caroline doing an impression of a puffer fish going up on Neil's Facebook page/wall (!?!?) soon. Personally, if I'm having a swim, I prefer to be in the sea somewhere warm but it was a nice experience and the water was clean and clear and tasted like proper water!

By the time we'd finished at the Lake, it was 7.30pm and we then arranged our evening's accommodation at Bayleys Beach, this one a mere 102km long. We booked a seven person lodge, ate takeaway fish and chips and played Perudo. Sadly, the Perudo wasn't as big a hit as we had hoped with the new team and only one game was played (and we didn't even reach the rule about aces being wild!!) A bitter disappointment..... But we slept in real beds....

Perudo recently took over a very fancy pub near Tower Bridge for Barney's 31st birthday party. We had 14 players (2 teams of three and 4 teams of two) and several hundred disgusted onlookers. The game lasted about 5hrs and nobody remembers who won... but everyone had a ruddy good time!

That's how you Perudo!

Yep, I think we get Chloe on the perudo asap. That should entertain us all...

Now that sounds like proper perudo.....
