I'm currently sitting in the bus (Thursday afternoon 2:30pm) in a free car park in Jedburgh.  What a place.  Not only is the town centre parking free, but there's also a stunning abbey right in the middle.  And - most especially - I'm using their free town centre wi-fi!  What a place...

Had an ordinary drive today.  Roads have been ok but not as stunning as through Yorkshire and Northumberland.  Found a nice spot called "Scot's View" - see the piccys.  And also the first ever (apparently) monument to Wallace.  Doesn't look like Braveheart to me!

Breaking the journey to the Lakes at/around Hawick so as soon as there's a few photos to accompany this dross, I'm on my way...

Becks on

Jedburgh's uncharted territory for us, but that abbey looks well worth a look in itself.

Looking forward to the next stage...
