So, this local Aruban beer, Balashi.. tasty! Been getting buckets of it all week while laying on the sand by the ocean.

Today started off like the past few days. Morning workout, breakfast, and meetings! We were going to go on waverunners after the meetings but I opted to decompress with some Sze-time aka alone-time. Three buckets of beers later and two books read (The secret life of bees by sue monk kidd & how we are hungry by dave eggers... good buys! both are excellent), I'm a toasty, relaxed, island girl. Seems like the ocean always brings me back to my center.

The downtime alone was a good decision. After running at 200mphs with a crew in tow for the past few months, it was good to be able to just have time for myself.

warm sand, turqoise ocean. and that smell of sunblock lotion and limes. it's like home.

tonight, we eat at the Flying Fishbone, a restaurant right on the beach. one of the best restaurants we ate at so far, except the service was excruciatingly slow. this meant we spent a little too much time at the bar.. and a few too many vodka shots later, the night became a blur. :)
