Tonight, I board a red-eye flight to Aruba via Atlanta from the San Diego airport. I writing this travelogue retroactively, so bear with me as I slip between present and past tense :) It would take me 12 hours or so of travel time and getting in to Aruba the next day at 2pm or so.

As always, luck would have it... the customary screaming child was seats away from me on the Atlanta to Aruba leg of the trip. iPod to the rescue!
