Memories from our 3 week stay at D&B's Bed and Breakfast...
Hiking to numerous beautiful mountain lakes...
Mountain biking the Wasatch crest trail... and surviving puke hill...
Nights hanging out in the cabin with the fireplace crackling...
Listening to Addies cute stories about her dolls and toys... they each have a very complex existence...
Our many conversations with Dana and Brian
Biking the old Pony Express Trail through the woods..
Biking with the boys around the dirt roads in the mountains...
Jogging from the park to home with Meritt
A private mountain walk with Deb... just the two of us...
Watching the boys play with their Utah cousins... and fight... like siblings... =-)
Spending time with the girls, Addie and Meritt... they rock!
My night bike ride with Brian... up the shoreline trail... cool!
Mountain valleys filled with alpine flowers...
Buzzing sounds of hummingbirds as they busily zipped by...
Cool and fresh and clean air...
Watching the bison herd graze on the shores of the Salt Lake...
Soaking in the hot springs for a few hours..
Cracking open open a microbrew in the evening hours...
Having our own little apartment in D&B's basement...
Mountain Bike shopping in the World's top biking destination... and of course buying them... and trying not to think about the money... =- /
Being geared up by D&B's excellent friends... much thanks and gratitude to them all... and if they ever want to head off to the destination we are in... we will return the favor and then some...
Biking the Redfish Lake loop... especially the wicked switch backs that could have turned me into alpine fertilizer...
Watching Deb and Dana laugh together... it is the moment they almost turn into a strange set of twins... genetics ya know...
Floating in the Great Salt Lake..
The OUTDOORS!!!!!!!!!!
In closing I would also like to especially thank Brian and Dana for the amazing hospitality and friendship that they all showered us with... It is not easy having a strange expat family fly into town with dirty bags in tow and couch surf your place for almost 3 weeks... They took us in with an openness and kindness that excelled above our highest hopes... We all eagerly await the day that we can return the gesture... We love you guys...
