22-Putong Shanghai
Well the trip is almost over. We started out this morning packing and getting ready to leave. After everything was packed we went out into the surrounding neighborhood and just walked around taking in our surroundings. We stood watching the traffic. Traffic is fascinating no matter where you are. The rules change in different countries. Here we watched the millions of bikes that weaved in and out of the few cars on the roads. The bikes were used for everything from hauling people to hauling food and merchandise.

We decided that we needed to pick up a few more gifts for friends and family so we decided to go to the old Bazaar. We grabbed a taxi since it was quickest and headed to the shops. We did some quick shopping and then went to get a Taxi back to the hotel. We were short on time and needed to get back.

We stood in line for the next taxi to show up at the stop. We were the only ones there. As we waited someone else came up and was standing behind us. When the taxi pulled up they pushed in front of us and got in the Cab. Okay maybe it was just one group.

The next taxi came up and the same thing happened. Well looks like we learned something. If you want a taxi you have to be aggressive. The next taxi pulled up and another group tried to take it from us. I pushed and shoved and got into the taxi first. Needless to say the group left standing there didn't seem upset that just seems to be what you have to do to get a taxi in Shanghai..

We are now headed on the way back home to the United States. This was too quick of a trip. We really enjoyed the culture, the food and the people of China. I hope to return again some day.
