Last weekend I decided to head up to Westport, Ireland to climb Croagh Patrick. I have climbed Croagh Patrick before but have never reached the summit. It is the mountain that St. Patrick fasted on for 40 days. I left on friday and spent the night in the Old Mill Hostel which is an old mill right in downtown Westport. The downtown is very touresty but very picturest. I had hoped to show pictures of me climbing the mountain but the weather did not work out for me this weekend. I ended up seeing " Night at the Museam" and the new Mel Gibbson movie becuase it was too windy and rainy to climb. The weekend was not a complete waste, we ended up meeting a group of Irish kayakers that go around on the weekend kayaking down rivers. This coming weekend I am going to Dublin with Fairfield University coordinator. So that should be fun. Okay well I will keep all of you updated.
