We decided to get Ann-Marie a gift to say thank you for putting up with us and being such a good hostess, so on Thursday we took a trip to a nearby Mall to find something nice. We made our way back to the apartment without getting lost and had a nice relaxing evening in.
This brings us to today (24/04/09) which we spent doing this blog, packing our stuff ready to leave tomorrow and a nice bite to eat in a local diner. We fly to San Francisco at 8.25am so its an early start for us but we can't wait. We've got noone taking care of us in San Francisco like we have had here though so its gonna be a little bit scary! Should be a good adventure tho, will keep you updated - watch this space!..........

I must say I am very impressed with this travel blog malarky! Be interesting how your going to keep us updated when your in the heart of the amazon! ha ha! I think im going to find this addictive and if I don't get regular updates I will go slightly mad! Pics look great - and was pissing myself at corinne showing off her Ugg boots! good girl!

Dunno. I thought the map would show where we were planning on going but it seems that it only shows where we have been. We have been in San Fran for 3 days now, probably heading south on Fri or Sat. Not much point asking your mate now. We aren't sure ourselves where we are gonna go yet tho. San fran is good innit?! went to a gay bar last night with ppl from the hostel and got very drunk off 80cent cocktails. today was a write off! haha

There is also a train for 2 dollars that can take you to universal studios theme park which is fun to do. Sunset and Melrose are also close by and for 30 bucks i think you can get a day tour around all the star homes and the major LA sites which is fun.
I would tell them to book the Santa Monica hostel in advance because I think it gets busy being so close to the beach. There is a hostel closer to Venice but at night time Venice can be slightly shady so tell them to stick to Santa Monica.
