Huacachina, a tiny town, surrounded by high sand dunes as far as the eye can see. There´s an oasis in the centre, some hotels, restuarants and well thats about it. Resourceful locals have set up some sand-dune buggy tours, big meaty trucks drive gringos very fast up and down the dunes. The buggys carry sandboards, look just like snowboards, and the the buggy will drive you up to the top of a dune and you can slide/fall/carve/plummet/roll your way down. Very good fun.
