Hey people
This is a one stop shop for anyone and everyone to find out what Team Cooper aka Dan & Kat are doing in the four corners of this world. Congratulations on finding this blog site its not going to change your life but it will bring a little ray of sunshine into your wet English lives! hahaha!!!
In the beginning, I had a dream, This is one small, A journey of a, hmmmm....
Anyway, we decided to leave the UK and Go West! Where apparently the sky is blue. So three weeks before we are leaving, to help us decide where we should go on our odyssey, we pinned up the Independent's 'The World In Facts And Figures' map and with a black marker and some minor arguments we scratched out our route
We are flying to Tobago in the Caribbean to play steel drums and sail around for a month. Then its off into the Amazon to spend six months checking out the delights of S. America. In May we fly from Chile to the pacific island Tahiti and sail from Tahiti to Fiji. And then go from Fiji to Auckland in August 2007!
In a mathematical nutshell: A world map plus a trip to STA equals a purchased 'half way round the world' ticket to Tobago, Santiago, Tahiti and Auckland.
If your thinking, hold on! what about the return leg, well, kat is teaching for a un-determined period of time in NZ. Hence we can't predict our leaving date from the land of the hobbits! Plus they don't sell air-line tickets that far in advance.
Please come back to this site and check out any new posts. I'm thinking about making it a little more interactive. Maybe the audience can vote on where we should go next??? could be fun...
See you soon
p.s. If anyone is hanging around Heathrow airport on saturday 30th September around 7:45am and would like to wave goodbye to us... well don't bother, because we will be at Gatwick! hahaha

Dan, Kat, wishing you enough luck to ensure that the biggest problem won;t be that big a all. It all sounds fantastic though the reality will no doubt be far more enthralling

Ooo Arrr Me Hearties.....
Hello Coopers from the original Mahoneys. Mum and Dad have asked me to write a message to you whilst they clean the house and pretend to be busy..... you know, hard work looking after a nipper. Good to hear that you made it to T&T ok. Similar weather to Bristol, only slightly hotter, a bit more sunny, and not as much rain or wind, or thunder and lightening, and more sun shine and longer days. Amazing how similar indeedeee. Top Sunday, for Hope's 6th birthday. Sound was terrible, couldn't hear a thing (only joking Paulo did a grand job, in fact Duncan and the band played 60s Rock & Roll whilst the adults looked jealously at the kids on the bouncy castle. Mum's got a job interview on Wednesday, so if she doesn't get it, you might find us all following you round the world......
Keep in touch, and watch out for the (wo)man over board.......
love Amber
Life Is Beautiful
Sheffield Steel City calling! How goes the enjoyment of the Great Mother? Her blessings are too many for us to behold!
