Cusco the original Incan capital of Peru and the oldest city is located in a valley high in the Andes (3500m). A bustling tourist town these days catering for all activities. After a tour of Incan monuments (they use that term instead of ruins), we have 3 days total here to mainly do as we wish. With Cathederals, Museos and mercatos a plenty, its not hard to fill in the time and its nice not doing things as a group for a change - a chance also to decide who you want to eat with and where. Our guide has promised to take us to salsa lessons when we return to Cusco from Machu Picchu. Off to the Sacred Valley and on to Machu Picchu. Ciao
