I'm currently wearing all of the layers I brought with me and I'm still chilly! :)  We trekked up to the castle on the hill outside of the main center of Prague.  We crossed the Charles Bridge and the girls stopped at all of the jewelry venders (much to the boys chagrin).  Once we finally made it across that beautiful but windy bridge, we marched up about 1000 steps (I'm probably exaggerating, but my buns felt that way!) to the old castle.  It's gorgeous and ancient, just like the rest of Prague, but the highlight was the St. V-something cathedral.  We all were in awe of the artistry and level of craftmanship that must have gone into all of the religious art and architecture.  We could have spent hours just examining all the detail.  I want to come back someday when I have money to take all of the guided tours and visit all of the museums.  After that, we had planned on visiting the beer gardens, but it got too cold and so we just chilled and enjoyed our new friends at the hostel.  TTYL

Hi Kids,

How is the hostel? Tell us about what your accomodations are like. How is the food (at the hostel and else where). How far is it from everything?
