This beach is called the, "thinking man's Borcay." Well, that's all we needed to hear because Borcay was the nicest beach we (Dave & I) have visited. We arrived only to find small stretches of beach that were only manicured right in front of the little resorts. Once you go 2 feet out of the resort line the beach becomes crap with junk and coral everywhere. Needless to say this was big dissapointment. The next day we rented some scooter and toured around the Island with two Aussie chicks we had met at our guest house. We went to a fresh water cave\swimming hole (totally lame) and then went on a serious overland excursion to Pardise Beach. This was actually a really cool, secluded beach that we had to hike through overgrown trails to find (getting lost twice). Most people come by boat so the trails don't really exist anymore & the you have to wade through a swamp for 5 min which probably discourages most people from attempting this overland feat.
That night we drank and played card games before going out to do some serious karaoke. I 'kinda' stole/borrowed a bike taxi to give everyone a lift to the bar. I then returned it but I did not have to go far because the owner was 'kinda' hot on our heels. The owner for some reason was not really that amused.....Sick of the high prices and the over rated beach we took off the next day to go back to Cebu.
